The bamboo flooring vertical grain option has a very unique linear patterned look. We often use this configuration and customers seem happy with the end result. Unlike the horizontal grain product, bamboo flooring vertical grain does not expose the knuckles of the bamboo.

How readily available is vertical grain bamboo?

Our experience has been that the vertical grain bamboo floors are fairly readily available, we have not had product availability affect the timely completion of any customers project to date. As this product grows more in popularity there is always the possibility that the availability could become a problem, however at this point we do not see that happening any time soon!

When it is installed the vertical grain offers a beautiful and functional flooring option for any home. As you can see the linear pattern we refer to is quite obvious when installed in a larger area such as shown here.

 

 

The bamboo flooring vertical grain configuration is available in both natural and carbonized. as you can see in the natural configuration the lines are a bit less pronounced than in some of the carbonized floors. The dimensional stability of bamboo flooring vertical grain is very high because it utilizes many layers of material fused together in the manufacturing process.
