Ultimate source of knowledge for every aspect of the Flooring Industry. He is
here to Educate and support Consumers and all levels of Industry insiders in
the flooring world. His knowledge base is a compilation of several centuries
of combined floor covering experience from Managers, Dealers, Warehouse
staff, Sales Staff, Office Staff, Installation professionals, Manufacturer
representatives, Distributor representatives, Specifiers, Architects,
Designers, and regular repeat purchasing Customers (such as builders)
Collectively we assure you there is NO ONE that knows more than the Professor!
ANY employee (sales or non sales), owner, or investor of any flooring Dealer, vendor, distributor, manufacturer, floor cleaning/maintenance company or installation company, as well as ANY Builder, Architect, specifier, designer, or Consumer that needs either an information source on floor covering or would like to enhance there professionalism in this industry is encouraged and Welcomed to join this site!!.
At this time this site does NOT sell any floor covering products. We have however included trusted resources that we have either personally used as a supplier or that we have screened carefully and allowed to be a dealer/supply side or installer member of this site.* And as our base of "certified Premium value" Dealers and Installation contractors grows we will offer the purchase through this site from one of those Dealers/installers in your hometown. This is done for the protection of our consumer members and if you are a dealer or installer the screening process can be a bit tedious but we assure you if you have the credentials to be approved it WILL be worth your while to make the effort.
Unlike many "other" flooring resource websites we have researched we are ACTIVE in the flooring business and not a publisher who just threw together some generic flooring resource information and posted it plastered with ads to generate affiliate income or are charging ridiculous "listing fees" just to post your name. We also are not some small flooring dealer who slapped up a website just to plaster it with ads from the highest bidder. We need to have sponsors to keep this site going, but we will not compromise our principles!
Any advertisement, manufacturer*, vendor, dealer*, installer, designer, cleaning and maintenance professional*, or other reference to an outside entity that you may see on this site is NOT simply an ad posted from the highest bidder (like most websites) or in a random fashion. ALL of our ad space is from trusted reputable and screened vendors that we classify in different categories to help you and to protect your best interest as a consumer, dealer, or other end user of goods or services. They are categorized in the flooring professor rating system as

And rarely but just so you can see the
whole picture
= "not rated".
In many cases (with the exception of not rated) they are a resource we have personally used and know they meet our standards!
The flooring professor is a one stop information and learning source for both consumers and industry professionals. The concept was born from nearly 20 years of frustration working in the floor covering industry. We saw a gross inconsistency in information, sales techniques, and installation quality among other things in our industry. It is Our mission to FIX THAT! Our founder has spent every day in the trenches and understands the unique needs of each category of people who are exposed to this industry.
For example: a retail consumers needs and services are somewhat different of that of a builder. And the needs of a retailer are different than that of a consumer or builder.
This site is a compilation of the nearly 20 years of research and real life experience of our founder AND the additional input of MANY other industry professionals with combined experience into the hundreds of years.
We are proud to be the most complete and thorough resource for all things pertaining to flooring. Please no matter which category of member you fit in take a moment to absorb what our mission is here and how it will benefit ALL involved. We are confident once you have done this we can count on your support and input to this community for many years to come.
Most of our basic services (including standard membership) is FREE
However, as we progress we will offer professional training materials and classes for industry professionals. as well as recognizable certifications for sales staff dealers and installers. And we offer premium services as reasonable costs that we are sure you will find very fair for the quality services we offer.
